The Tripura Medical College is Promoted by Global Educational Net (GENET), which is an initiative of Universal Empire Group. The Group has educational institutions in St.Lucia (West Indies) and Bhairahawa (Nepal). The Universal College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) at Bhairahawa is the largest medical campus in Nepal that offers MBBS and BDS programs. The 700-bed hospital has put this small Nepali village on the world map as Nepal’s most important healthcare destination. UCMS is run by the company Universal Institute of Advanced Studies & Research (UIASR) Pvt. Ltd. In India, apart from Tripura Medical College the Group has also established the Thamath Institute of Management and Technology in Ambalapuzha, Kerala.

 

The Corporate Headquarters is located in Kochi (Kerala) while it has four other offices in New Delhi, Agartala, Gangtok and Lucknow. The international offices are put up at Kathmandu (Nepal) and Dubai (UAE).

 

After a successful venture into Healthcare, the Group has now diversified and is now involved in various other fields like Aviation, Tourism and Knowledge Industry. Surya Airlines Pvt. Ltd is the first of these projects and shall soon serve the North East of India with a 19-seater airline service
