Welcome to the most ambitious project in Healthcare in the North East of India - the Tripura Medical College and Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Memorial Teaching Hospital. The project is located in Agartala, which is in the capital city of the hilly and picturesque state of Tripura.  The project embodies the Universal Empire Group's “Synthesis of Excellence” in healthcare service delivery and medical education. The Tripura Medical College is a private medical college set up by Global Educational Net (GENET) the healthcare education trust under the Universal Empire Group that manages facilities of excellence in healthcare education in Nepal, Dubai and the West Indies. |

Total Hip replacement at TMC |
 Hip replacement surgery Tripura Medical College & Dr B.R Ambedkar Memorial Teaching hospital performed the first Bi-Lateral total Hip Replacement with MOM (Metal on Metal) Operation thus adding another first to its repertoire of ‘firsts” in the Medical History of Tripura. This is the first time that a Bi-lateral Total Hip Replacement was performed not only in Tripura but in the entire east of India and this extremely complicated operation was performed by a surgeon of national repute Dr Rakesh Rajput. He was assisted in this rare & complicated surgery by Dr Abhijit Sarkar, Dr Pandab Paul, Dr Jayashree Sen & others. |
